I am currently obsessed with Warby Parker glasses!  They are super cute and stylish and they have optical glasses and just plain sunglasses to choose from.  I love these Pierce Oakwood Brown glasses :)
If you like a few of them and don't know which style would fit your face, they have a deal where you can request 5 different ones to try on at home and they send them to you! How awesome is that?  If I were you, I would take advantage of that and try on some different styles if there isn't a store near you.  They are also really affordable which is a double plus!  They are also very charitable because if you buy a pair, they give a pair back to people in need of glasses; like kids in Africa.  I think that should motivate you even more to buy one of their glasses.  Which Warby frame best suits you?

CharityWater

Ever hear of charitywater.org?  It is a non-profit organization that provides clean drinking water to developing nations.  Thousands of children die because they do not have clean drinking water, and instead are left with nothing but dirty, contaminated water to drink.  Think about how much we take for granted our daily water supply?  We throw bottles of water away and waste water by over using it.  I know it's hard to grasp the concept of people not having water and what it would actually be like to not have water supply right in front of us, but it is a real world problem, and this organization is trying to reach out and get people educated and involved.  I love how they have a birthday pledge where instead of getting presents for your birthday, you ask for people to donate money to give these poor kids clean water for at least a day. Even a small donation like $20 will go a long way.

What to Wear: To an Interview

Some people are confused about what to wear to an interview, whether it is at a corporate office, or just a retail store.  I think it depends on what position you are applying for and the overall culture and atmosphere of the company you are applying to.  I would say that this piece is safe and a good way to show off your style with some accessories and a colorful blouse.  It says you are fashionable, yet you look good without showing a lot of skin.  You never ever want to show up to an interview in jeans, your midriff showing, or your boobs showing.  I call it, the 3 B's: Butt, Boobs, and Belly.  Being overdressed is better than being under dressed.  So if you feel that wearing a full suit is best, whether it is with a pencil skirt or slacks, that would be your best bet to wear to an interview.  Keep the blouse colorful though, it really can make you stand out and not appear too boring.  Overall, express your fashion in your own way and be confident in who you are! Bargain Shopping

So I went to California, my hometown, a few weeks ago for vacation and of course I had to go shopping! Went to South Coast Plaza in the OC and got me a great steal for these Steve Madden loafers.  It was only $20!! It was also the only one left AND in my size...how perfect is that?! So I knew it was meant to be and I didn't have a second thought about it and bought them immediately!! Love these shoes!! :)

Be the Change

I think it's always great to help the less fortunate or just anyone in general. I made these blessing bags last summer while I was away for my internship.  I had seen so many homeless people and it really broke my heart watching them stand outside in the heat asking for people to help them.  It really opened my eyes to how much I have and how blessed I truly am.  We are always wanting more and nothing is ever enough, but I think that if we changed our perspective on life and were less needing things and giving more, we could really touch other people's lives.  I hope that this will inspire you to create your own blessing bags or just do any sort of random act of kindness.  Helping someone never hurt anyone, so why not do it?
